Sean Marshall is a third generation Houstonian and fifth generation Texan. He married his high school sweetheart, Rebecca and they have two children. Saige is eleven and goes to Frank Black Middle School. Salvador is eight and attends Garden Oaks Montessori Magnet. The Marshalls own a home in Candlelight Plaza located in the district’s northern area.

Sean’s pre-school thru middle school education took place in District C. He attended and studied at Little Folks Day Care Center, Montessori Country Day School, Will Rogers Elementary and Hamilton Middle School. He graduated from Jesse H Jones Vanguard High School, earned his undergraduate degrees in Political Science & Philosophy at the University of Houston, and his MBA at Rice University which is also in District C.”

Sean spent the last 14 years working in the Oil & Gas industry. He began his career as a Technical Analyst in Reservoir Engineering, then as an Associate in Corporate Development and is now a Vice President at an Investment Bank. He currently provides advise to clients on multi-billion-dollar Acquisition & Divestiture transactions. Sean serves the community as a director on the board of a local arts organization, a leader in his son’s Cub Scout troop, and as a student liaison for his alma matter Rice University. He is quick to recognize problems and develop solutions.

Once elected Sean intends to use his skill sets to streamline the City’s services and enhance the quality of life within District C
